1) fuel mileage - +-10 mpg pulling a trailer, depending on load, 15+ running bobtail
2) don't know about any problems, I have 31,550 miles on my truck and haven't done anything but change oil and filters. You are the one that mentions problems, what were they. I see you are in Canada, if they are the ones with the stopped up DPF, I believe that was traced to long idleing and running the wrong fuel. If there is something else, I'd like to know about it myself.

I think you can order a 2500 and select the Bed Delete option. You get ripped off by only getting a $400 credit. Much smarter to buy the truck with the bed and sell the bed or part it out.
With just less than 5K on our truck we are seeing about 15-16 mpg in the city 12-13 with a 24ft unloaded flatbed and anywhere from 7-10mpg loaded. Our biggest load we have tested with was 14K lbs plus the trailer weight and we were fighting a 20-25moh headwind. We got 6.8mpg running 70mph.
I can tell you there is a large difference from 70-75mph as well. The rpms stay low but if the boost gauge is above about 4-6psi it is drinking fuel!

Any idea what the city/hwy mileage would be on 2500 4X4 CC with the 6.7 and 68rfe with 3.73 gears?
Trying to figure out if I would break even after 5 years/150,000 kms versus a gasser. I know you have to consider resale, maintenance and interest as well.
Thanks.
