mmm I'm still debatin on just bitin the bullet and buyin some spacers for mine. I've got 3rd gen rims and tires sittin in my shop, but I was gonna sell them and go another route...

They grew on me. I didn't think I would go this route, but, they look good on the trucks. I don't care for 17 inch, but then again, even my 05 chebby gasser has 17's on a factory steely. My 08 dirtymax tonner dump has 17's too. So I guess its the wave of the future as far as tires go. I like the 17's as long as the tire is big enough so it doesn't look like a ricer 1/2 inch tire.

So that leaves me with a question. Can I use the 9/16's 1.5 inch spacer with my smaller factory studs on the truck?

The spacer actually uses little acorn lug nuts to attach it to the stock 1/2 lugs on the truck. then you mount the wheels to the spacer itself which has it's own studs (which i'm sure you can order in 9/16). i think it's the best way to do it.......using a 1.5 or 2" spacer off ebay . they come with lug nuts too i believe
