well, here's the deal, my blend doors are messed up,
and the wife's feet are FREEZING all the time.
she's cold, and i am sweating.
we don't have the separate systems.
so i took it in, they said blend doors are bad, need to be replaced,
WHOLE dash has to come out.
do they better designed parts out now, or will they just break again?
i saw one guy said "don't do full throttle shifts"
with the Fan on high, don't change modes.
well, here's the problem, they got some 20yo kid working on my truck,
and i don't think so.
my truck is QUIET with no dash squeaks or rattles, no annoying noises, it is REALLY nice and tight
it probably WON'T be after this young fellow farkle fingers it.
i only want to get this done once, if i have to.
wonder can i manually shut the door on her feet?

My fresh air door broke in mine already so I went to the dealer and they got me a new one with the stops on it so it wouldn't break again. Me and a buddy unbolted the dash and swapped out the top part of the HVAC box in like 2 hours with a couple beer breaks. Its not very hard, but even though its new ans under warranty I'd rather do it than someone who doesn't care about what he's working on.
