VB debate

so i am looking at valve bodies no i am debating between the hts and the goerend here is why i am debating and you guys let me know the differences

HTS: cheaper, get quick responses from them, core charge only charged if they dont get core in 30 days

Gorend: more money, says it comes with solenoid. does hts? is solenoid needed? good reviews. is gorend core charge refunded when they get core since it is more or does it work like HTs core charge?

i would go goerend myself due to the fact that he is very knowledgable just be sure you know what you want to do with the truck. once you get him on the phone he will talk to you and explain it all. the guy knows and besides that buy his tc and it has a 100000 mile warranty. i believe he vb is like 525 after the refund.

Have you asked HTS if there valve body is a High Pressure Valve Body with solenoids like the one Goerend sells? If one from HTS does not come with solenoids that is why its cheaper. After having mine valve body replaced yesterday under warranty, it was explained to me by the tech with 20+ years working on Dodge trans its a very good idea to replace them when replacing the valve body.

im not sure if hts is a high pressure one . do i really need the high pressure one since i am not going to exceed 600 hp or is it best 200 bucks is quite a difference in the two and i will need good proof to spend that extra money gorend also mentioned if i use his vb that i should have stronger band as it could break.

Did you ask HTS if theirs came with new solenoids if not that maybe why they sell one cheaper? You could ask Dave if he would build one for you that is a non high pressure valve body?

For me it was that Goerend puts every single valve body on a dyno before it ships. Does HTS do that? I have had my trans done for about 80K and if it dropped out tomorrow, I would go back to dave. He the best! IMHO
