A couple turbos on e-bay seems like no one knows what they have

can anyone tell what these are, I have decided to try an HX35 to try and minimize smoke and get a few extra ponies. I have a 12 and a 16 housing, will any of them fit the HX35 compressor?

That first one looks like a hy35 to me but i'm not sure,someone who knows more will be able to tell you.I know you need to stay away from those.The second one looks like a lot of work to me.And,both of your housings will fit a 35.It's a good upgrade,I just completed it.

 

Neither of those is a good candidate for a swap into a first gen. The swap to the wh1c or hx35 is well worth doing, however.

 

they both look like hy35s both have hard pipe plumbing to wastegate actuator
