Turbo Help

Im trying to decide if i need bigger turbos. I have ATS twins 3000-6000, i believe that the 3000 is 57/71 with a 36 mm wastegate and the A6000 has a 3.02(76)mm inducer with a 1.32 housing and no wastegate. Thats about all i know about them. What should they support for hp? Im looking for around 850-900.

That is a tad on the small side, I think. Looking at the rest of your set up, I'd say you want an s480 at the minimum on the bottom. On the top, that is just a little too restrictive IMO... at the least a 62 comp and a bigger wastegate is desireable. For that HP level, 50mm worth of wastegate is about right. For comparison, my top turbo has a 67.8mm inducer. I really don't know what your current setup will support, but I would guess around 700. There is more that goes into it than just comparing numbers on the turbo specs.

I agree, i was thinking around 700 to 800 on the high side. I realize that there is more, but was just tryin to get a idea of where i might be with out being on a dyno. I did order a set of mpi twins 64/71/13 over a GT-47. So atleast air wont be a problem now.

No, air will not be a problem... that 47 will support over 900. Ask me how I know!
