I've noticed lately that the right front side of my truck is leaning.

There are no noticible or any out of the ordinary squeaks or shudders.

All suspension is stock with 33k miles on it.

Ayone have any ideas to what maybe causing this? I was thinking maybe my shocks are blown, but...

First make sure you are parked on level ground,next make sure there is nothing in the bed or cab that weighs much also make sure your tire pressures are all set at spec. If it is still off take a tape measure and measure up through the middle of each wheel to the fender on each corner. How far out is it? There is usually a spec as to what is acceptable difference and there usually is 1/4" or more difference. Shocks unfortunately will not cause any ride height difference as they do not support any weight, they only dampen spring oscillations. The likely culprit would then be a sagged spring. Time to go to the dealer for some warranty?

Well I'm pretty confident in a lean. Unless every parking lot I've been in gives the same results. But I gues it could happen.

Tire pressures are good all the way around. And there isn't any added weight in there besides me.

I'll give the tape measure a try later this evening and see whatelse arrives.

Not trying too be smart, but is it possable that the bumper was not aligned properly from factory?

Oh no, this is a full blown lean.

You can visibly see it from the rear and front.

Yeah I had that lean too. We bought two 04's for our business and the one I got just happened to be the one leaning. It was off about an inch low on the passenger side. First trip in they replaced the rear leaf, no luck. Next trip in they took it to the body shop to check for frame twist and the frame was fine. The third trip in more new springs and this time it's very close to level. I'm a perfectionest so things like that drive me nuts! A friend at a body shop told me to be sure to check the frame so if your dealer doesn't get it with the springs take it to a body shop you trust and have it checked. Theres just something about a big diesel truck sitting lopsided that makes it look weak Anyway good luck...LCH

I hope it isnt the frame. I haven't done much to the truck yet and havent towed a lot of loads.

I'm just worried about wear down the road. I havent noticed any changes in ride or anything, but it's starting to get a little annoying to look at.

My buddy at the body shop said He's seen a couple that was the frame right from the factory, same case as you ,hadn't pulled much. He also said it didn't take much to correct it if thats it so I wouldn't worry too much about it but I would be persistant and get it fixed. LCH
