What tranny fluid?

I'm heading out to get some things and some tranny fluid. I'm going to do the flush myself where you hook up to the return line and run 3 qts, out and then refill and keep doing until fresh comes out. What kind should I get? synthetic? How much? I'll check my post while I'm out--thanks!

Walmart Supertech is actually very popular and certified by Chrysler. http://www.centerforqa.com/licensedatf4brands.html

All ATF+4 licensed by Chrysler will be a Group III synthetic.

You will need six quarts just doing a pan drop and filter change. I would have a minimum of 24 quarts on hand. The complete tranny holds 14-15 qts when it is dry. It will take 18-20 qts to do the fluid exchange.
