Unhappy Speakers on 99 Dodge

Well, I blew out my front passenger speaker today. Totaly stock truck, It is the 6x9 in the door, what is the price for a replacement part from dodge? I would go aftermarket, but I am trading the truck soon and dont want to spend the $$ on this one. I am also wondering if I can find one second hand, any ideas? Also, should I replace both for the sound quality, or would there be no difference? thanks.

Check your local Bone-Yard for a replacement.

Yeah, mine are blown too. sometimes they work, other times.....
It's a nice surprise when they decide to work when a good song is playing.
I have just been too lazy to upgrade.

Yeah try a boneyard. I can almost garuntee that a stock speaker from Dodge will be double what an aftermarket one is for a way junkier speaker!

Sorry to hear about the smaccident. I think the stock speakers list around $215. DC replaced 4 for me and then the truck was out of warranty. I had other issues so they settled by making me 4K heavier in the pocket. 130K later I have only replaced one speaker on my own. I think I paid $140 at the dealer.
