SP Diesel shutdown timer questions

For those of you who have installed this timer, I have a couple of install questions.

The orange wire that goes to the brake pedal.... what wire does it splice with???

The blue wire from the relay... what color is the ignition wire that it splices with and where exactly is this wire located???

I hope someone here can help me.... SP Diesel cannot respond quickly enough...

Thanks in advance.... Tony

The Ignition wire is the Pink/Lt Green wire in the bundle under the dash

The Brake wire is the Purple/Yellow wire on the brake switch assembly.

Since you have an 05 you may need to jumper a wire between the Pink/Lt Green wire and the smallest Pink/Yellow wire in the same bundle. Otherwise you may through a wastegate and cooling fan code.

Ok.... got it to work... somewhat. The **** is working backwards from the directions and my brake light remains flashing and hitting the brake doesn't turn off truck. I went over wiring several times... What should I do?

Double check one more time that you have the Orange wire on the 6-way harness connecting to the brake wire. I will double check and make sure the White/Tan wire is the correct wire on the brake pedal for your application. Your brake light should not be flashing so something is hooked up wrong.

Orange wire is tapped to the white/tan wire which is the second wire from the firewall in the brake connector. It is tapped and I have continuity from orange thru white/tan out of the connector. I know the connection is good.

Truck runs fine but at shutdown, brake like flashes and brake does not kill engine. Timer works fine but reverse from instructions.

Tony,

I double checked the wiring and it looks like I goofed...the wire you should be tapping the Purple/Yellow wire in the brake harness.

Let us know if that does not do the trick

Purple/yellow wire did it. Truck shuts down when brake pedal is depressed... no more flashing brake lights..... Thank you very much. I understand you're busy and I appreciate the help.

btw- my eliminator & harness are being UPS'ed to you for r/r

Thanks again,

Tony
