Replaced upper CA bushings and....
Well I replaced my upper control arm bushings and the Passanger side was a piece of cake. I took the arm off and took it to shop and had them press the old bushings out and press the new ones in. Now today I went to go take the driver side off and noticed that when I did the axle seemed to rotate making it hard to align the bolts back when I went to put the arm back on and I mean hard. It seemed as if the axle didnt want to go back to where it was. The passanger side was no problem at all and only took me about 10mins to put it back in. For the drivers side I had to go out and get a com-along to get the axle to move back about less than a half an inch. And I mean I had to crank that sucker tight. Now why is that? The passanger side was a joke and the driviers side was a headache and a half??? Is something not aligned right? I've always had front end problems on my truck. Could something be bent? Any input is great.
Also I have something poping while braking....any ideas on that? BJs maybe?

Control arms, links, it's all the same boat when you're talking about a 4x4. However, I noticed the same thing when I pulled the bolt out for my passenger side. I had to hook a come-a-long up, also. I don't think you'll have to worry about it because I figure the weight of the truck tries to push the axle when it isn't bolted in.

OK. I was just checking because I just couldn't believe how easy the passanger side was compared to the drivers side.
On a side not though what could the popping be in my front end? Ball joints or is my hub going out AGAIN!

The popping could be the axle side of the track bar, if it isn't super tight the bolt will slide around in the hole and make a popping noise. Or it could also be either the lower shock bolts, or maybe somewhere in the link pins for the sway bar. My bet is the track bar bolt or the shock bolts. Good Luck
