Red clutchs
Here in the next 6 months or so I'm gonna be ready to but grade me tranny.I was just gonna do the TC/VB since I think it will handle the power I want and what I'm doin with me truck.
OK by then my trans will have about 65k on it. Been pretty easy on it, no chip no pullin of towin just drivin. I was over on HTS and they sale a rebuild kit with red clutchs for 380 minus the bands, is that worth doin while its out or do you think I should put that against a billet input shaft??? Anybody know how much extra it would cost a shop to rebuild the trans than put just the TC/VB in??
Also what makes these red clutchs so much better than factory? Also says it comes with 3 reaction plates, what are those??
I heard one time that when gorend builds a trans he just uses the factory clutchs,is that true??
