Hey guys, so after seein 01 trailer pullers cab lights in person, I decided I need to break down and get some myself.

My question is, does anyone know if the bulbs are exchangeable/replaceable?
I dont like amber and would really like white bulbs under the smoked covers.

Recon said they arent, but if im looking at all the part numbers right, They sell the bulbs for the cab lights in other colors. So I dont know if they actually cab be swapped or not.

Yea the bulbs are equal to a 194 bulb. The sockets are different into the light but you can put any color 194 bulb in it. I did it to mine because all but 1 socket failed and I thought it was the bulbs. so I modified my old sockets to work in the new lights. Size wise they are different nothing else.

So I can swap them out then. Right?

Oh Rowland they didnt catch too much heat haha.
Ive read about problems with em in the past, but was mainly cause of water leakes. So I will be coating the seat with silicone during install.

Ive looked at other brands, but just dont like the looks of any others as much is my problem.

love my smoked recon's have not had a single problem. no leak no moisture in over a year. but I did use a rubber o-ring under the screw head with the plastic washer provided. I would think white lights on top were not legal. but maybe so.

Thats what they told me too. But then why would they sell that size bulb in dif colors? I dont see anything else on there site that takes that bulb.
Also, I dont see why, I mean yea Amber turn signals are one thing, But cab marker lights are for cab clearance light and to make yourself more seen while driving. I dont see why they cant be white like the head lights are.

Also, darker then 50% tint up front isnt legal, but that doesnt stop us hahaha
