I heard a rumor that the rebate will not be increased and may be lowered due to cost of steel rising.

In the 5 years I've had a CTD (98 and now the 03 - and paid attention) the highest rebate they've offered is $2500. There are a couple of other things you might be eligible for on top of that like the Farm Bureau Discount, Military Appreciation (sporadic) and... I don't know what else.

Good luck.

joel, the rebate on 03's in late 03 was 4500!!!! + 300$ business rebate = 4800!!!!!!! $5000 if you were a farm bureau member. i paid $4800 - $1000 holdback = $5800 under invoice on my truck........ wow!!!!!

GEEZ!!!! And here I thought I got a good deal at invoice less $2000 rebate - FB($500) and 0% interest for 48 months.

Any less and they would have paid you to drive it away.

Hmmmm..... I bought my truck in late 03 and at the time (Labor Day Weekend) the rebate was $2500 and I got another $750 military. Plus the $1000 below invoice. Never saw it go to $4500 around here! Man, add $750 to that and that would have been sweet! Oh well, can't complain about $4250 below invoice either.

I bought mine this month.

I got the $2500 factory rebate, $1000 dealer rebate and they threw in leather ($1000 retail) and $2000 towards my wheels/tyres!

Needless to say I was happy to do the deal.

In saying this i went to 4 other Dodge dealers in my area, NONE were even close.

Moral of the story is you need to shop around.

Cheers,

Batts
