Now I am confused ??? I was reading a message about the competition (Duramax) and it talked about problems with its 11.5 AAM differential. Several people jumped in to say they also had problems with it. Is that the same diff that is going to be on my new baby? Has anyone else had &quot;break-in&quot; failures on their differentials? My Brother in Law is the Service manager of a Chevy dealer on Calif. I asked him about this as I have been considering the new Duramax. He said there has been a small problem but not any more than normal. The common thread has been hard towing or heavy loads before the truck has had a chance to seat everything properly. Boss Hog , you might also consider changing the rear end lube to synethic asap.
