quality ball joints and tie rod ends????
i've got a 06 2500 5.9L cummins 4x4 with 99,000 on the clock now and for a while have been living with the "loose wobblie" feeling in the front suspension. i recently replaced the stock shocks and front steering stablizer which i will say were well worn! i also installed a steering box stabalizer. it helped but its still not right. i had the front end looked at and was told its ball joints and tie rod ends are time to be replaced as well. are there any companies that make "better" or better yet "bulletproof" replacement parts! i would hate to go through this every few years! 4 wheel proformance parts quoted me $1450 to do all the work: 4 ball joints, 4 tie rod ends, and an allignment. does that price sound preaty reasonable? or should i bite the bullet and do it myself? any comments would be greatly appreciated!!!!

You'll get lotsa people tell you Carli BJ's are the only ones to get, but 4 of them will cost ya 1200 in parts.
There's also some new Dynatrack's out there for about half of that, and some new ones by XRF
There's been lotsa threads here on it lately, here's a few:

For the rest of the steering I'd go with the new 08.5 steering, there's lotsa threads on that too...

Just cuz you can afford to spend $30k to accessorize your truck doesn't mean everyone else can; doesn't mean everyone else wants or needs to for what they use it for.
Like most people I don't have an endless supply of funds to play with.
