Carli or Dynatrac Performance Lower Ball Joints??

Well we finally have some options for good lower ball joints!! But which ones??

http://www.thecarlisuspension.com/do...alljoints.html

http://www.dynatrac.com/products_pro...alljoints.html

They look fairly similar, actually the Dynatracs kind of look bigger. Both appear to be rebuildable with out removing, and greasable. Dynatrac should be ~$300 for the lowers and ~$600 for full set uppers and lowers both sides. Not sure how much the Carli's are, and I love their uppers I have, but I hope with some competition the lowers will be more reasonably priced....

What kind of testing, guarantee will Dynatrac do/offer?

Carli's are atleast being Baja tested, but won't be available till Late November.

What to do...What to DO!!!

Just ordered a set from Dynatrac for $599. I talked with Dan and he told me their testing shows 4X longer life than Moog or stock. The rebuild kit will go for a little over $100. Dynatrac is a old timer in the off road gig, so I guess I trust them enough to give them a go.

I have yet to see a ball joint built with a bushing last..........I have seen the Carli's take huge beatings after MANY miles in Baja, way too many miles in Barstow and all the other scenarios we put our trucks through.Pull them out and they still look like new.

Looks like they could be a good option if they in fact hold up. 600 for 4 is a decent price, at least in comparison to Carli's. At least you can tell these were designed from the ground up vs. the XRFs which look like stock from the outside.

Call them and talk to them, they will answer all of your questions to your satisfaction. I also told them they need to have a ball joint, parts before assembly so people could see them. They told me it is in the plan to photograph so we could see them, and I think that will satisfy most people.

Any body have any issues / praises for there Dyntrac pro steer joints. my stockers are about ready to fall out and I would like to upgrade.
I have a qoute for the prosteers at 600 for complete axle.
rebuild kits are about 100 bucks.
That seems resonable to me assuming they really are stronger & will last longer.
The Carli's are 1200 for a complete set and that seems to be a bit much to me.
Any one got any miles on any of these?
By the way I have an 2005 so these prices were for the AAM 925.

My understanding is that the upper ball joints rarely go - that it's the lower ones take the punishment.

I replaced my lower ones with Carli about 18 months ago...I guess time will tell...
