Question What PSI do you run???

Thanks for the advice. I read the door on my new 07 and it says to run 45 in the rear and 60 in front if NOT towing.... and 70 in rear and 60 in front if you ARE TOWING... I pull a fairly large trailer on weekends and also use it as my daily driver. I put them at 70 in the rear and 65 front... Kind of makes for a pain in the BUtt when you rotate them!!! Thanks!

I've done my 01 similar to that. If I leave them up in tow mode it seems to wear the centers out of the tires quicker. Also rides alot nicer around town with 45 out back.

I would ha te to have to be changing the pressures all the time.. LOLOL SO I am hoping that the 65 and 70 will work. I don't mind a rougher ride I want the Fuel economy and stability while towing.. THanks!

I have 75 lbs in both front and rear. Compared to my former 92 first gen truck the 06 rides like a luxury vehicle.

Same here, and I've got 37K on mine. Get 17.5 to 19.5 mpg depending on speed, headwind vs tailwind, hills vs no hills, etc.

I have a set of 315 BFG's . Running 45 all the way around. Like the ride and wear is fine; at ~47,000.

For around town non-towing it's 55psi front and 45psi rear. Almost 40k on the stock Michelins and appears to have another 30k left.

Solo: as per door sticker (50/50 I think)
Towing: modified to 55-psi front/70-psi rear

Tires are new stock sized LTX A/S

Combination is 58' long; 25' from drive axle to front of trailer tandem; combination is a little over 16,000-lbs. Truck is several hundred pounds heavier (CAT Scale) than the trailer.

This pressure setting helps the steer axle a bit for steering responsiveness.
I change back to solo setting when I have a week or more between moves as truck is less steady with cap/bed load with the higher pressures.

Stock tires unloaded truck I'm running 60 lbs front and 45 rear. The dealer had all 4 set at 45 psi when I picked her up and I felt the front end was too soft and not responsive, 60 seems about right for me.
