noobie requires education
As one of the new goofs to dieseling I'd like to do some reading to get up to speed on diesel units in general and Dodge Diesels in particular before I ask many (more) questions.
Suggested reading (...sides playboy, penthouse etc...) ?

Re:noobie requires education
Welcome to the site, woodpecker! As far as reading material, I would recommend reading the forums on this site that deal with the 24 valve engine (2nd generation). Also, the Towing and Hauling forum, if you are going to be doing any of that sort of thing. And also the High Performance section if you plan on modifying your truck at all. There are also other sites on the web where you can gain some knowledge of your new truck, but you won't find any that are more friendly and helpful that this one. If you have any specific questions, ask away or use the search function here to see if there is already a thread about that topic. I learned most of what I know about my CTD here on this site. (I had a Ford diesel, and then a GMC diesel before I became enlightened and bought my "big red truck." pics are on page 8 of the member photo section) You can also PM me. If there is anything I can help you with, feel free to ask.
