Newbie Question

What are the biggest tires I can fit under my 2006 Quad cab 4X4 without any lift mods? Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

I have seen many guys put the H2 315s on stock rims with no lift and it works, now 315s are 35's correct? If so i think thats as large as u can go..

I have Nitto Terra Grapplers 295/70/17s on factory suspention and as far as i can tell, I am no where close to rubbing. They are approx. 33.5 inches tall. I am also looking into 315s. Aftermarket wheel backspacing is the main concern. I have been told that I can put a 315 on my factory rim/suspension setup and rub only slighly in extreme turning or bouncing condidtions. However, if you put the same tire on a wide rim with greater Bspacing that it will still rub with a leveling kit. Anyway, thats just what I have been told.

here's some more "not to get too overly technical". well, actually it is
if you do the math:
315/75-16 is 34.6
315/70-17 is 34.4
