New service truck.
I just bought a 2002 CTD 3500 straight cab 4x4, I'm going to turn it into a service truck for my farm. I'm putting a service bed and a hydruaulic crane on it. Is there any product that will allow me to bring the idle speed up when using the crane?

Is that the high idle through the cruise control? I know they wanted $250 for a high idle kit for my truck. I just got a solenoid off a gm car and made my own. $22.00 for all the parts.
PM me for the instructions and what you need...

I was gonna say, there have been a few posts latley about making custom high idle switches that you can activate at any time. The ECU reflash and the smarty will only work in cold temperatures when certain parameters are met. Im not sure about the Quad boxes.

My Freightliner truck with the ISB has a idle speed switch, it is connected to the ECU.
All you need is a 2-way switch with the common terminal grounded. The two 2-way terminals connect to pins 35 and 36 of the front terminal block of the ECU(The OEM side, the rear terminal block is the engine side). This enables the engine speed to be adjusted between 700 rpm(normal) and 975 rpm.

The quad adrenaline can fast idle cold or hot. Just set to level zero when warmed up and wait for the fast idle timer (default is 2 minutes). With the pulse module, you can change all the parameters. It is set for 1200 rpm or so and the speed is not adjustable.
