new 06 flash coming (possible mpg flash)

Well, picked up the truck from the dealer and the service guy said there is a new motor flash on its way for the trucks and hes thinking it is for MPG for the guys with autos.

Just thought you guys should know...theres still a chance some of us will get a mpg gain.

I know a lot of you guys will call BS but 2 weeks ago with just under 5000 miles I had a cel come on. Took it to my dealer and they did 2 tsb's.

I then went on a 400 mile road trip empty driving mostly 60-65. I was lucky to get 17 mpg before flash. After flash and the road trip I filled up and hand calculated I got 22.8 mpg's unfreakenbelievable!!! I am going to tow 5000 lb boat this weekend to see what that is like.

Sorry, all I know is I had the hard start, extended crank time problem and then the check engine light came on so I took it to the dealer and they said they did those 2 updates and that I would be getting better milage also. I didn't get any technical info. The flashes only fixed the hard start problem for about a week, its back???
