Lots of threads on how to drill and tap the exhaust manifold for pyro sensor. Go slow, use grease on drill bit and tap, use magnet, leave engine running, drop turbo a little and put something to cover, etc. Just do a couple of searches until you find a process that you can do.

Here is picture of my first pyro sensor followed by picture of the second pyro sensor installed about an inch farther back on the manifold.

If you're looking for a pic of a post-turbo install, there's a couple in my gallery.

how is this...

Some drop their turbo and tape it like I did, some use small drills and slowly step up so the chips are very small, some drill with grease and partially cover their tailpipe and drill while the truck is running to blow the stuff out...

All methods seem to work pretty well... I went the ultra safe route, dropped the turbo and taped it off.. I was also able to put my finger up in the port and feel the depth of the pyro..and make sure the holder was flush inside.
