Well the tst is fine, pretty adjustable but not while driving. The mp-8 is a littlemore easy to fine tune, it is more direct plug and play. I think you'd be fine either route you choose...

i can adjust the rail pressure with the push of 2 buttons takes like 3 seconds while driving, but does the mp-8 do bigger or better down low or something, just need to know if its a waste of 400 bucks becuase i can definetly find other parts to spend that money on, if so be.

I honestly don't know cause I never tried the TST, but I am really satisfied with the MP-8. Keep the pressure you have and use the money towards something else.

Is the MP-8 really needed with the smarty revo software being able to adjust rail pressure?

I think its appeal is being able to adjust and fine tune on the fly.

Give the MP8 a try. They usually sell for between $150-$300 in the classifides. If you dont like it, sell it for what you paid, no risk. I have the mp8 and love the power and adjustability. The billet **** kick's buttt for when you need to dial in the power instantly.

Is this the MP-8 that everyone uses?: http://www.tsperformance.com/Power_Play.html

I am really thinking about getting one because I love to turn up the pressure when racing but dislike the uploading the smarty. So, would I run the smarty on RP#0 and only use the MP8, also does the MP8 add anything but pressure, the site is not clear, thanks.

^^^^^ This has been my own home made Smarty POD for the past 3 years. Love the Smarty/MP8 stack. Truck spools quicker sw5 w some mp8 then sw9 no pressure.

I can vouch for that...sw 5 is my daily driver level and its got plenty of power. The MP-8 really livens it up.
