Looking to do a few upgrades this summer...
IM looking to do Springs, studs, turbo, and injectors. Im hoping to make over 650 rear wheel horse. I am currently running Smarty on TNTR, I have a fass 150, and a SB DD. Im also running 5" from the turbo back to dual 6" mitres. I have a pyro and boost gauge as well. I know there are a ton of guys here who have been to this level and way past. Im looking for suggestions on a good setup and approximate cost. Thank you. Oh yeah my truck is a 2005 4wd quad cad short bed.

64 mm charger and a set of flux 2.5s should get you reallly close to what your looking for. You may want to throw a pressure box of some sort in the mix also.
As for the studs and springs, the springs would be a nice upgrade if you plan to run the higher rpm's, but the studs are almost a definite. Some trucks can get by without them and make 700 HP, but most of the time the gasket will eventually fail from the higher cylinder pressure at that hp level.

I figure the springs are the cheapest of the bunch. I might as well put them in while ive got it all torn apart im going to do the springs studs and injectors all at once. Plus ive accidentally run the rpms up higher than i wanted to before and it scared me. Any reccomendations on who to go with with injectors and springs? What mm studs should i go with?

On the injectors, I am biased to the F1 injectors. Which is why I mentioned the flux series. I have also had very good results with the F1 sportsman springs.
On the studs, just stick with the run of the mill 12MM studs. The arp 2000 should be fine

How hard is it to do the springs and the studs yourself? Do you need any special tools to do them? I would like to get that done sometime and I was wondering if I could do it myself. I am somewhat proficient at my mechanical skills and was just wondering if anyone out htere has done it. Thanks

Studs are easy, the springs you will need a valve spring compressor to do. But they aren't too bad to do either, you just have to make sure the piston is at tdc in the cylinder you are working on.

Ive decided I want to try and do a compound set up with my stock turbo. Something like an aurora 5000. The kits ive looked up from MPI and ATS seem expensive for the turbo and the plumbing. Its it possible to build your own kit once you get the turbo? Paying over a grand for just the plumbing seems a little excessive. Im far from made of money. Am I missing something? Are the companies just trying to make up for R&D?

That crap ain't cheap, man. You can fab the stuff up yourself if you are good with a tig welder, just get some good insulation for it.
I know a dude that can set you a package up for all of that stuff... he posted in this thread...
