A long Thanks Ya'll

Last week while trying to pick up my new RV a problem arose my transmission took a dump. She's a 1998.5 24V and has an automatic with 47000 miles on the clock. Once I got her off the freeway and pointed down the hill I tried fixin her myself with no luck. I posted a 911 and ya'll came to the rescue with possible problems. A guy up in Fresno gave me his cell number too call and I did. I read everyone of your posts one by one. A fellow member gave me some information about a company in the TDR rag. I called ATS and told them what the truck was doing. Over the phone without asking me to bring the truck down he told me what the problem was. I didn't have any really choices so I took my girl down to the local butcher and asked him to perform a minor surgery. A shift solenoid for 3&4 gear and to clean the governor was what I asked them to do. A day later they called me and said that they needed 500 dollars just to find out what the problem might be. I went back down there a second time and asked them please just do what I asked you to do and nothing else. I went one step further and said I wouldn't hold them responsible if it didn't work. Well ATS and ya'll were right. Just a shift solenoid and a new trans filter and gasket did the trick. You guys are the best. I want to give ATS a big plug I know when she does take a dump for real I'm going to ATS diesel performance.

thanks a bunch
Bill
