It seems every year my 99 has this issue, and changing the gov pressure solenoid and the transducer is getting old and costly to keep fixing it.. I put them in over the past winter, and the truck has sat since April and now its doing it again ! Is there a cure for this crap ? i change the parts and it works fine, ive not been able to drive the truck because of rear end issues so I cant just drive it for a few more days to see if the problem will go away.. but its movable and its without a doubt in limp mode... shut it off and turn it on and it goes back to 1st gear ... Should I just take it to a tranny shop and let them diagnose it ?
