Lift Pump Compatability

Ok, to start off I'm in need of a new lift pump. I'm debating between electric (FASS or Airdog) or a 2nd gen piston pump. I'm also thinking about running a 50/50 mix of diesel and WMO/ATF. So my question is, will this fuel mix be ok with either of these pump setups? I'm not worried about filtration. If I go electric Ill buy the pump with the filters on it. If I go piston pump, I'll get the same filters and mount them separately back by the tank. So is it bad for either of these pumps or maybe it doesn't matter? Thanks!

I don't know why you would want to run an WMO/ATF blend. ATF has friction modifiers that can't be good for an engine.

If your going to run WMO and go with a eletric pump, remove any filters the pump has, as they clog right away, my 14Lb Holly pump has been running for years with the with the small mesh it filter it had removed, but only ran 2 months when I first put it on before cloging up. I didn't even know it had a filter in it till I took it apart. it caused me all kinds of grief till I found out why my motor quit.
