Lets see your pedal pads...
I've been wanting to change/upgrade the pedal pads in the crewcab and was wondering what others have done. I really like the original mopar style ones with the stainless trim around them that came on a lot of the cars over the years. Like these...
Please post up some pics of your Clutch/Brake/Gas pedal pads.

Can you post a side-by-side comparison between those and the stock ones ??
You have my interest.

Alright guys here's the skivvy on those pedals I posted up. Those are from a 68-70 Mopar B-body (charger, roadrunner, coronet, satellite).
Here are a couple pics comparing those pedals, to a set from a 1st gen.
The 1st Gen pedals are approx. 3 3/4" wide X 2 7/8" tall. The one in my pic...not from a B-body but the same basic pedal..is approx. 3 1/2" wide X 2 1/4" tall.
Now in these pics you can see the shape difference in the metal plate the pads mount over.
You would have to make new plates for the pads to mount on. As well as put a bend in them. Even the rubber pad is formed to match that curve.
So yes it's do-able, but might be a little bit of fab and welding required.

Thanks, trashingsows; when I requested a picture, you went above and beyond the call.
Very helpful side-by-side comparisons.
I had sort of thought about some big after-market pads that I saw in someone's truck at the shop.
Before I decided I would try a set, they were hanging for sale everywhere; alas, now that I am slightly interested, I never see them.
The pads I am meaning were at least as large as the standard truck pads and had a chrome/stainless "grid" with thick treaded rubber poking through each opening in the grid.
If one opted to weld on steel plates for the pads you pictured, I bet the correct radius/arc could be found by cutting a section from a piece of large pipe.

I may have to try fabbing a set more like motocross foot pegs....that'd cure my sixteen-year-old daughter of that barefoot driving habit!
...funny, how when they turn sixteen and get a drivers' license they instantly turn into lawyers...

Well I finally found a pedal pad I liked for the clutch and brake.
Made by Mr. Gasket. They say thy are approx 4" wide X 2.5" high...so very close to the original pedal size.
Will update with info and pics when I get them.
