Key wont work in door locks...

"When you use the key it is a mechanical linkage. My power locks work fine but for some reason doesn't pop the **** up all the way. Seems to hang on something."

I had this problem with my 84 D350 gasser. The issue wasnt in the door at all, it was the latch post on the door pillar being out of alignment with the latch. I moved it slightly and the problem cleared right up....

Good luck... seems to be a common problem and I haven't found the solution yet. If you figure it out let me know!

I had a similar problem not too long ago, turned out that it was the actual opener button mechanism for opening the door from the outsided that was the problem, the thing was seized up and wouldn't return all the way up thereby effectively jamming the key/unlock ****... Cleaned all the corrosion off and it was good as new. Hope this helps.

I have the same problem on my passenger door control. If I use the power locks from the passenger side, I have to push up several times to unlock the drivers door, but the drivers door works fine if I use the drivers side power lock.

I've had the problem to. A little graphite spray freed it up (shot into keyhole and in and around the latch). Just give a little shot twice a year to keep the problem at bay.

I have the same problem on the drivers side door. Also, I can only lock the door before I shut it or I can't push down the button. Seems the jarring of shutting it causing a problem.
