junk yard axle
OK so i was roaming through the junk yard where i found a 1 ton Chevy that is a dump truck. i pulled the bed off so i could get all of the lifting stuff to manly put it on to my truck but i'm unsure of the axle that is in it it has nice wheels that don't have Chevy all over them and every thing is clean on it brakes look good but what would i be looking at to put that axle under my truck will it fit will it hold up to the Cummins, if i take the axle i will take every thing but tires. will this axle take the abuse and the big question i have is, is it posie. it looks like a 70-85 dump. i just want to make sure the guy said 20. bucks a wheel and 130 for the axle and then 25 for them ti pull it. so i'm looking at the cash but will it work on a d250 that has a 4x4 swap planed for it.
thanks Shane

What size was the yoke? Our diesels use a 1410.
Im sure being its a dump its a dually. With that being said is it a c&c truck? Like on out trucks if you buy a c&c dually rear it will bolt in a regular D/W truck but will look funny because its not as wide as a regular rear end. I am not sure what rear it is just a couple things to look for.
