john deere injectors?

I remember seein a link a while back about a drag truck with john deere injectors because they would flow so much more fuel. I still have some pics on my computer of the truck but forgot the link and it looks like a p pump 24 valve? But anyways I was kinda curious if we could get these big john deere injectors to work in our trucks???

I remember seeing it in one of the diesel magazines. Ran the injector lines through the valve cover.

The Deere nozzle holders I have are way to big to be even thinking about using in a 12 valve.

Yeah that is a 24v mod. Takes custom machining and adding a fuel return line / galley.

If you had all the toys you could probably fit a larger series of inj in a 12v head. But there are many variables.

I love the VE, but this is for WAAY bigger pumps.

Yeah thats the one. That thing was sweet!

So the john deere injectors have bigger bodies and tips or what? could you get them to fit in a non i/c head? I'm just kinda curious about this. I like john deere's myself and tractors in general so it would be kinda cool and different if we could get them to work.
