Did the engine run enough to purge the un-treated fuel and get the lines full of treated fuel ??

Did you change fuel-filters recently ??

An old filter will have a load of wax crystals trapped in it and, will not so much gel the fuel, as the wax will attract more wax, until enough stops things up.

I ration the white-bottle Power-Service to the recommended ratio with a measuring-cup, 12-oz to 20-gallon, and have never had a fuel-gel situation.

On the P jug it says "guaranteed not to gel" mabey you should give then a call. I've not had any problem with PS either.

Fuel heater working?????? if it plugged in..............I'm going to say a plugged filter would be the first place to start!

If it looks like some yellow baby food was put in there............... you have found were the gelled full stopped flowing.

I ran grey bottle PS in my 89' while in Maine. I put in half a bottle to every fillup (25 gallons average) and even at -20* it would fire right up and go. I may have plugged it up twice all that winter.

I've got two 2 liter bottles each about half full of diesel out beside the water spigot. One is summer fuel that I've treated with the silver bottle of PS, it was from when I purged my lines back in early August when I installed my Glacier fuel pump kit.

The other is from when I changed my spin on fuel filter a couple weeks ago. It is full of fuel from October but its been treated with the white bottle PS. The fuel is from October as that was the last time I really got to drive my truck. A guy passed out and hit me head on in my S-10 on Oct 28 breaking my femur and crushing my kneecap and put me out of commission for a while.

Anyway we don't have -8 here where I'm at but the other day when we got down to 7 I hobbled out and checked the bottles. Both of them were flowing just fine, no gelling at all! It kinda surprised me at least for the summer fuel with the silver bottle PS.

I agree with others that the lines or filter was plugged especially if the PS wasn't mixed and ran through the lines.

Also what is the consensus on using the red bottle of PS if gelling does occur?
