I've been redoing the inside of my truck little by little and today i got the door panels painted and back in. I still have to redo the cloth part up top, I got a silver micro suede stuff for really cheap so I still have to do that.






I also went ahead and did the cheap dynamat stuff from Homedepot. Just did behind the seat and behind the door panels for now. I still have to hook up my other sub too. Ill do the floor when I get the new rubber mat. After that all that is left is to redo all my gauges in glowshift gauges. If I'm off next weekend I might do above the head liner and paint that too.

 

let us know what the mat stuff does for noise reduction

 

When I just started it and let it idle in the drive, I didn't noticed a difference but when I went to town It did quite it down a lot. It seems like it made my stereo louder, but a friend did tweak the amp a little for me too today. All in all its not a bad way to spend $30.

 

Where in HD do I find the make believe dynamat and what sq footage does it cover ?

 

I found it in the roofing/rain gutter section. I dont know the SQ footage. It took me just over 1 roll to do what i did.

I went too work today and on my way home, I realized that if 100% better is you cant hear the truck, it made it 60% better and i hope when I do the floor it will be 80% better. And for some reason It makes me drive faster. Maybe because I had the windows up, ac on, and radio on and I was just out of it, but I caught myself 2 times on the way home just flying through town.
