injectors

finally got my injectors installed. WOW. last night at 65mph, i floored it. tranny downshifted to 3rd and spun the tires! keep in mind i just got new 285 mudders too!

Can you say SMOKE? constant haze at idle.

Scary Larry + 120-150hp injectors + DarkSide CP3= 17k at WOT with NO pressure added. That's impressive! I could hit 22k with this program on a stock cp3. I need to get a good pressure box and im good to go!

and the best part.....my SilverBullet hasn't seen 1400* yet!

btw it feels great to have a running truck after 7 weeks of no truck

Scary Larry and boosted 4wd launch. 0-100mph. Not seen 1400*. Smoke doesn't even clean up, but it doesn't get hot either. LOVE IT!

Scary Larry isnt streetable with these injectors. It's nasty power and smoke!

If your getting that kind of smoke but not heat out of those injectors I would say you need a second pyrometer gauge. The constant smoke at idle I had that my last go round with all the schied crap. I don't know if it was the injectors or the head that we found broke in 5 spots this last go round but with the new head and the flux 3.5's mine don't hardly smoke now unless I'm in it. As for the 1400 degrees I haven't put my scarry larry on the truck yet waiting for some miles too brake her in but with my HTT 66/71/16 stainless I can see 1400 on tst level 3/1 pretty easy but am still dialing in turbo and really haven't been in it that hard yet. Also I'll bet like rye said I bet some of the smoke is due too lack of rail pressure from your cp3. I hope it all works out for you and glad to see your truck going. I know how you felt. I just got my motor back in Saturday after pulling it early May. Good luck man, sounds like she screams.

its literally a haze, its not bad at idle. The engine was bore scoped 500 miles ago and everything looks good. These are just nasty huge injectors. Theres another truck with the same mods and it smokes worse actually.

If its really hot outside, like 105*, i can hit 1350 on the 90hp setting. If its cooler in the morning, I barely break 1200* on the same settings. I love this set up.
