hy35 to hx 35

what is all needed to change the hy35 to the hx35. and how hard is this to do.

i had it done just for the moment pretty easy thing if i remember the exhaust side of the turbo is diffrerent and we used a band clamp. what gears do you have i lost alot of quik response with mine but i did gain mid range and hwy

Just need the turbo and a housing. Get a gasket as it's chaep and the oil return gasket as well.

The overall length and attachment metod to your HY is exactly the same. It's a quick and easy swap!

If you are running additional fueling over stock, the larger housing allows you to get control of drive pressures. And to be able to change housings is an added benefit.

On a stock fueled truck, the HX will be laggier with the auto and generally not perform as well.
