High Tech Turbo 62/71/13or14?

I have noticed a lot people are running the HTT62/71/13. When I went to the HTT website they only offered a 62/71/14 not much difference just wondering what the deal is.

But anyway if I were to get this turbo, does my truck have enough fuel to spool this turbo with just a Diablosport? By the time I get this turbo I will have installed an AirDog II 150gph. I am really wanting to get the turbo now while I have the money. Hopefully by the spring I will have enough money for a Smarty, pressure box, and a clutch. Just want to know how laggy it will be with just the Diablosport and ADII? Or should I look for a quicker spooling turbo? Any opinions, and what other turbos would you suggest? By the way the HTT62/71/13 sounds so sweet!

You won't have any issues with that 6-speed. You will be fine. It's on the website, just look for the stainless steel exhaust housings.

14cm is a cast iron housing. The 13cm & 16cm is Stainless Steel. The SS costs more and spools quicker.

I may be parting with my 64/65/13ss, going for a different setup. With I stick this turbo will work for you. It will also help keep those hot EGTs from the Diablo down.

Still looking on HTT website can't find 62/71/13 only a 62/71/14. Someone said the 13 is the ss housing and the 14 is not. Anybody know?

Ya I know what you mean about the website, its a little confusing. I never got this question answered either, but I'd imagine that the 13 is an SS housing and the 14 is the cast. Go with the 13SS, you wont be dissappointed, and ya...you've got enough to spool it and have room to grow as well!
