High yes
Mikey, I live at 5700' and work in the 8700-9200' elevation everyday. There is a difference in power the higher you go due to the thinning of air. When I travel to Las Vegas or Calif. my truck runs better spools better and seat of pants feels like 50 hp more. EGT's run hotter at higher elevations...My 2nd. gen truck seemed to be affected more then my 3rd gen. I believe having more power in the 3rd. gen, better turbo, and injectors helped to compensate for the losses in power due to altitude.

Thanks for the reply and sorry I didn't get back to thank you earlyer, I wasn't home much of the last couple of weeks. I've had mine up to 9000 ft. a few times and didn't notice much of a difference, but I travel a lot and I'm wondering what to expect if I get it up real high.
