here is my liberty fuel cup mod opinions welcome
I went out and finally purchased a liberty fuel cup to mod for the 1/4 tank with the draw straw. I am converting my lines to half inch like the air dog (i think) since the fass was 5/8 th's. I also did alot of trimming on top of the cover and below to get the earl fittings to fit properly becuase of the little fin's that stick up above the surface. Lines are 1/2 " and cut at a 45 degree at the bottom. I am going to be running 1/2" to and 1/2 " return. So let me know what you think ....
I also wanted to know whats the best way to get the fuel lines on the fittings they are so tight i cannot get it fully to the end i hit about the second barb and cannot get it to go more...

Looks good. Do you have anything keeping the pick-up line from moving off of the bottom when compressed at install height?
I'm also assuming that you have an angle cut on the pick up as well to keep it from suctioning its sell to the bottle of the canister. That could starve the engine & stall out.
Also don't forget to drill two holes on the size of the canister 180* apart to let fuel in at below 1/4 tank. it will need to be 1/2" , 3/4" from the base.

Make sure the hoses don't interfere with the float for your guage.
I'd shorten the one for the return line. I modded a Liberty but for my AD 100 I used the factory feed to go to the AD, it draws fuel in the bottom of the canister.
What kinda pump are you gonna use? I'm curios why you didn't use one of the mod kits you can get now?
