Where is it leaking? At one of the injectors or at the overflow on the back of the pump? Either spot can probably be fixed by taking apart the connection, wiping everything down with a lint free rag, and reassembling. You may need new crush washers, but usually the old ones will reseal.

Fuel is pouring out of the line off the back of the pump. It's not the rubber boot, but the metal line that goes down near the block and the injector lines.

Did you lose a crush washer? Should go "washer, line, washer, bolt". You might need new crush washers if they are scarred up too bad to reseal.

When I took the pump apart to put in the 3200 spring, I didn't do anything to the rest of the pump. The line that is leaking hasn't been messed with. That's why I'm wondering what's wrong INSIDE the pump. The line is pouring fuel not just leaking a little. WhenI try to start the truck, I get fuel when I bleed the injector lines but not enough becuase of the leak?

How did you get the top off the pump without removing that line?

It's just a vent, doesn't attach to anything. Maybe to mutch fuel in the pump itself? I dont' have any pics to so what the line is but maybe this will show up?http://dodgeram.info/tsb/recalls/605.htm....figure#5 . It looks like it points to the small line that goes to the intake but its below that one and below the little rubber boot.

Linky no worky.

That's the return line all right. You had to remove it to take the pump top off, I bet you dropped a crush washer.

Return to the tank? Now I see why it would be dumping fuel! It didn't have a line hooked to it when I took the pump out! Maybe that's the onlt thing that was leaking and I took it apart only to clean it and install the 3200 spring!

Yep, got that fixed! The id10t that had the truck b4 me cut the line for some reason and put it back together with some peice of edit plastic line. I didn't even think about it until 'bout an hour ago. Go out and look...sure nuff that's what it was. Now the truck runs but the turbo doesn't seem to spool, AT ALL! At idle it billows smoke, and when I drove it, no power AT ALL! So now what? The full power screw is about 1/4" from the nut and I backed the smoke out a bit, maybe not enough? Also figured out that I don't follow all directions well enough and lost the orientation of the throttle adustment, now gotta hunt that down 'til I get it right, could that have anything to do with my problem?

The throttle index is probably your problem.

Dark gray and with the duals that were on the truck (now cut off) it looks like the whole truck is smoldering! If it is the index, is there a reasonably easy way to remedy the problem?
