Getrag sticking, "locking up"

Ok, so my getrag seems to be locking up or at least trying to. Im looking for a manual or something to help me with the rebuild. Anyone know where I can come about one of those?

getrag problems

ok so as I stated before, my getrag has been sticking in gears not just one but any of them really ESPECIALLY 1st and Reverse. I am thinking that possibly the forks are messed up bad, but I dont know. Either way any opinions or suggestions? Im fixing to start the rebuild, and I want to do it right (absolutely hate doing things a second time). Also the day all this started I noticed that while i was on decel that it kept wanting to just fall out of gear especially 5th. Then I was pulling into work and when i stopped to back into the parking place the seemed to be like a big knocking sound. Everything seemed fine, got into the parking spot dropped in neutral and was sitting there and then with no warning the engine bogged down and the thing tried to take off. Now, this has never happened again nor, have the truck been driven. Like I said suggestions or opinions on whats wrong with the rag will be helpful.

Sounds like it might be seizing? Are you sure there's oil in it?

In most cases, when they start that, nothing short of an entire NEW top mechanism will fix it.

My cousin had the top off of his dozens of times, ordered a new top unit from Standard Transmission ?I think? and no problems since.

To prevent the forks warping and causing this situation, make all shifts slow and deliberate, shifting to NEUTRAL just as the slack comes in, then depress the clutch and smoothly glide into the next gear.
