which one would you go with? I am only running a 65hp quad box and will never have the need to NOS or meth.

I'm waiting for the dyno test results on the GDP Power Flo intake which should happen this week before deciding.

Having the CFM+, and seeing the difference, I now know conclusively that it was worth the money.
Having seen the dyno results of some of the other intake horns, I also now know they are not created equally. Some give more substantial results than others. CFM was just at the top of those tested.
Having now seen one of the CFMs come apart, I am not having a lot of warm fuzzys about it.
Seeing the design of the GDP, I would hazard a guess that it will certainly improve flow over the stock (you really have to pull the stock horn and look at the inside to appreciate just how restrictive it is) but will not be as good as the CFM... But I picked Green Bay over NYG too...

the main reason I went with the GDP is because of the 2mk filter housing attachments already in place. We'll see if there are any increases shown on the dyno tomorrow. With your mods, I can think of 10 other things i'd buy with that money 1st, including: A 2 micron aux. filter, lift pump, or money towards a smarty. Just my opinion...

i have the GDP unit.....

judging by the craftmanship alone, there is no way it'll perform as well as the CFM. the flange and the pipe are not machined to match and there is a lip interupting air flow at the weld.

i do believe it flows better than the stocker and noticed more pull on the top end. reports on the CFM are that you feel increased pull top and low.

i wish i'd have went for the CFM like i wanted to.

I was debating whether to send the GDP back or not , but it'll go on.
I just filed the flange to make sure it was truly flat, the just blended the lip with a die grinder and good to go.

I do agree that the CFM as well as others probly does flow way better , but how much do I really need with the stock tranny.
I mean , if I really jump on it I can break the duals loose and slip the TC if I really try.

Honestly, I didn't really need the intake , may not even feel any different, but heck , it's a cool add on and conversation piece combined with the delete so I figured why not. Everbody else is doin it.

See what ya'll do to me??
Make me spend money on my truck.
