Gauge placement
Gauge placement
Well, there's always someone asking about where to put gauges, etc, so I posted mine in my gallery. When I got the truck, they were just hanging in there with the holes already cut in the dash
The combo gauge fit in a 3'' pvc elbow perfectly and the tach has been wedged/clamped like that for 5000 miles. The little isspro tranny temp is a pretty good fit, but I don't like when it says my gutbag is pushing 200*! It's quite functional and kinda big rig/retro looking and hey, it's all I got!
Even though it looks like a long ways away, now that I know the truck and gauges, a quick look tells me what I need to know. Enjoy it or don't---she's my baby

Hey, it works and the holes were already there. I thought about ditching the message center and putting my gauges in there (I did that on my '85), but I like how it says "Cummins" on the dash.
Pushing that kicker vent open in the spring must be fun. Have to wear the shop goggles to save yourself from the leaf particles whipping into the cab at 60mph.

The previous owner only used it to pull his car trailer once every six weeks or so.
