Fuel tank vents
Guys, how do you recommend to clean the fuel tank vents? Can I use a carb cleaner and then try to blowout with compressed air or are there better ways?
The truck has shut down on me 3 times in the past 2 days cruising to a stop. No codes, FASS sounds fine but I think I am cavitating the pump causing a lose of fuel pressure. When it does it I can fire it right back up.
Thanks,
Dwight

Drive with the cap off. If it dies again it will not be due to the pump cavitation.
Also since the tank is plastic you would see it collapse before the pump failed to move fuel.
All that said your pump could be dieing but I don't think it is due to a plugged vent.
