Fuel in Oil
I posted to the wrong forum earlier. So a small repeat. Last week I found deisel in my oil. ALOT! Dodge towed my truck to the dealer and they took it to Cummins. They diagnosed a bad #5 injector stuck open and replaced it. I'll get the truck back tomorrow. The truck never ran bad no noises, no nothing. I had a P0251 code a week earlier that cleared. Shouldn't I have noticed something? EGT's were a little higher, 50 degrees maybe. I just think it had to be more than one injector. Anyone with similar issues?

Had the same problem as you did, we did an oil analysis and it came back 75% diesel in the crack case. Replaced injector and sent me on my way. No problems yet and that was 18k ago.

Well here is part 2 of the ongoing saga, I picked up my truck and all was well for oh let's say 20 minutes. Once again I smelled diesel fuel and I thought maybe it was due to the work just done, but being the careful person I am I checked my oil and you guessed it full of diesel again. Now mind you my repair was done by Cummins not Dodge. So it's off to Cummins again. This time the fuel was pouring out of the block and all over the truck. Made a huge mess in front of the service advisors station. Maybe they'll get it right this time!
