Free?? 24 valve upgrades??
Its been asked before so here it comes again... What can be done to the 24 valves for little to no expense to increase the power. you'll see in my sig I modify my 12 valve, but my work truck is an 02 24 valve auto 4x4. i don't want to spend any money really because it gets bagged on pretty good and probably won't last that much longer. But anything free would be awsome!!
Silencer ring, swiss cheese airbox, and maybe a jumper on the map sensor to fool it into thinking it has 19 psi boost so it will give full fuel when you want it to. Then you can pinch the wastegate line or plug it with a pipe cap. But all of that will net less than 3 HP. Waste of time at most! Not much you can do with a newer truck except drive it! If you wanna spend 20 bucks on a gallon of NitroMethane RC fuel, that will net a bunch of power. Almost 100 HP on my truck. But I won't run it again.
Yep, just mixed a gallon of 33% nitro traxxas rc Top Fuel with about 5-7 gallons of diesel left in the tank. Everyone on this site ranted and raved that I was gonna blow the engine, melt pistons, lift the head, seize the injection pump, and possibly die. So now I'm scared to try it any more. I am married now as well, more to worry about than myself and my toys.
That was back before the Jammer 5's or Juice, just an edge comp and k&N intake and luk pro gold clutch.
