And it is a big improvement running empty for sure. Factory shocks were still O.K. and they are gas units to my surprise. No more bottoming out on the front end and no studder to the side if I hit a rough spot in the road.
I get to tow with them tomorrow. I hope it is a good improvement. I had too much bounce while towing. That is why I wanted them for, towing.

You can look them up at Genosgarage.com. That is where I got them. Yes, they are worth it. If you only want to do it once get the Bilsteins unless you offroad alot. Other guys on here know what to use then. Just ask them.

I don't do any serious offroading, but I do a lot of high speed traveling on dirt and 2-track, washboard oilfield roads, and the like. I only have Bilstiens up front, but I absolutley love them. Best shock I've ever had as far as an all-around non-adjustable.

Or, if you have lots of questions and haven't been able to get answers, call Sean at Lorenz www.lorenzindustries.com
He answered every front end question I had. I ordered mine from him. I just need the time to put them in.

Just got back home. I drove 6 hours today. The Timbrens and Bilsteins are on heck of a combination. The ride was perfect while pulling a heavy load with a 2wd truck. I weighed in right at 21,000 lbs total truck and trailer. No more bouncey bouncey.
