EZ and Smoke?
I'll agree with erics76. I live at 6000 ft elevation, I can make it smoke ALOT from a stop or when it shifts but only at altitude, I was back in Minnesota almost sea level and I never saw a puff of smoke. EGT's are 1200 or lower but throw on a trailer and lug the engine in 3rd or OD and you better be watching your pyro.
Have fun, you'll like the extra power and be wanting more soon. It really woke up my truck while towing, level 1 only for towing for me

Smoke - a little puff/small cloud if the turbo isn't spooled up, but it clears up once the turbo spins
EGT - I can get it too hot if I'm towing (18,500# GCW) and I lug it a bit. It will hit 1300 - 1400* once in a while. Usually stays under 1250*, even when towing. Running without a trailer, you'd have to try really hard to get it too hot, even at 110 mph, I was still not in the red, but then the speed limiter cut in, and I slowed down.
