Exhaust Leak with DPPI Exhaust
Yesterday I noticed an exhaust leak where the downpipe meets the turbo elbow from my DPPI exhaust. I thought maybe the clamp was just loose, but it was still plenty tight when I tried to tighten it up.
Has anyone else had an exhaust leak at this location with the DPPI exhaust? If so, how did you fix it?

Hoss,
You'll need to remove the pipe enough to see where the leak is occurring. It should leave a real obvious trail as to the exact location of the leak. You might have a burr or gouge on the inside of the pipe etc that might be causing it as we haven't ever had a customer call with a leak at the turbo before.

I can see where it's leaking from. It's leaking at the joint in the clamp (where you would tighten it). I just can't figure out how to fix it.
My truck is an early '03. I thought I read on here somewhere that the early '03 trucks had a 4" outlet instead of the 3.5" outlet that the later '03 trucks have. I know your system is designed for the 3.5" outlet. I'm wondering if I don't have the 4" outlet and as a result it's not sealing up good. That would explain why it's only coming out at the joint (where there is no clamp to keep the exhaust from escaping). I noticed when I installed the system that the end of the downpipe appeared to be smaller than my stock one, but I figured I was wrong.
