Excellent Mopar parts source!
I've had quite a time finding a parts department...online and otherwise...that could find the right APPS for my truck. Most of these guys are clueless, since the old part number has been superceded by an assembly that includes the sensor and the bellcrank. Well, I found a parts dept that actually knew what they were talking about! It is Transitowne Dodge; the url is www.transitownedodge.com/parts/ and the parts hotline number is 716-634-8162. Instead of paying $790CDN at my local dealer for the APPS, I'm paying $365US (list is $487)! Even with the exchange, that saves me hundreds! Thanks, Judy!

I'm glad to hear that...I'd hate to hear something contrary now that I've recommended them! It's just so hard to find anyone in the parts trade that really knows their stuff, and can give you a break (25% ain't bad) in the price, too.

Lot of people don't realize that most dealers will gladly give you 25% or more off OEM parts if you just tell them the parts are for Joe's Garage or whatever name you want to make up.

Something in my conscience bothers me when I am not completely open and honest with people, as that is the way I expect them to deal with me; doing that just doesn't meet my standard. I would much rather deal with an outfit that offers a discount openly as this one does, and I don't have to play games with them.

Just asking the parts counter guy for a better price than list will usually save you some money, they all know the list price isn't fixed and is often ridiculous.
I find it a waste of money to pay for shipping from a far away dealer when the dealer close to me will offer the same price with no shipping.

Parts arrived!
Well, my new APPS/bell crank assembly arrived after its 5,000 mile journey to the Great White North...and hats off again to Judy at Transitowne Dodge...it was exactly the right part and works perfectly! I am VERY happy! No more cutting out...which sometimes occured 2-3 times a mile!

Thanks!!
In Thunder Bay, we only have one DC dealer. They have a 5Star sign, but after only 3 visits after buying my truck, I will never walk through their doors again. There's a couple things I've wanted since, but didn't know where to even look for Mopar parts. I'll give them a try next payday!

Not to rain on your parade but you might try www.hoeslidiesel.com and talk to Rodger. As far as Cummins parts go I don't think you will beat the $333 on a APPS or the fast and friendly service here.
Be Well
OH, and for Mopar with 30 percent off try these folks
http://www.parts.com/index.cfm?actio...nt&sfid=213794 This is where I bought my 03 track bar at $162.00 Altho it did take about 2 weeks to get it on a back order.
Oops, just checked this sight and they no longer give you 30 off! Its only 20 percent now! Sorry....

I have used one called Mopar4less.com . I think that was the name of it. I think they used to advertise on this site. That guy was very knowledgeable & low-balled the price to start with & had next day shipping at UPS cost, not something the dealership profits off of.
